NZCMC Camp 2011 is happening!  We're really excited for an awesome weekend, and even more excited to finally meet all of you.
To ensure that you know what is happening on the day, what to bring, and what to do, please make sure you read this thoroughly!

GATHERING TIME/LOCATION
Friday 15th April, 6:00pm @ Grace Chapel. Address: 161 Trafalgar Street, Onehunga.
We have organised transport for all campers to go to the campsite together.  No one aside from the designated drivers will need to drive to camp (you will know if you are a driver).
We strongly recommend that you get dropped off at church so that you don't need to leave your cars unattended for 2 days.
If this is really infeasible, please make sure you do not park inside the church grounds, as the church needs to be used over the weekend.  Parking may be available on Trafalgar Street, but this is at your own risk.

Please try your best to be punctual, so that everyone can get to camp on time.

CONCLUSION

We will be leaving the campsite together at approximately 4.00pm on Sunday 17th April.
We should arrive back at Grace Chapel at approximately 5.15pm to 5.30pm.
Campers can make their way home directly from Hunua Falls (given that they organise suitable transport), otherwise can arrange transport from Grace Chapel.

WHAT TO BRING

General:
  • Warm and comfortable clothing (warning: it can get quite cold at night, so make sure you're well prepared)
  • Waterproof clothing (e.g. rain jackets, ponchos, etc. - just in case it rains)
  • Towel(s)
  • Toiletries (e.g. toothbrush/toothpaste/shampoo/shower gel/soap etc.)
  • Personal essentials (e.g. medication, insect repellent, sunscreen, etc.)
  • Pens
  • Bible (for those who don't own a Bible, please let us know in advance so we can bring one for you)
  • Torch
  • Coat-hanger (optional - just a suggestion for the people who want to hang up wet towels, etc. instead of just draping them on their beds)
Meal time:
  • Big bowl (for noodles/soups)
  • Plate
  • Cup and/or water bottle
  • Cutlery (e.g. fork/knife/spoon/chopsticks etc.)
  • Tissues
Bed time: (there will be beds and mattresses provided, as well as one heater per room)
  • Pillow
  • Pyjamas
  • Sleeping bag
We advise you not to bring any expensive belongings, as we cannot be responsible for them.  If you do choose to bring valuables, please look after them and know that it is at your own risk.
Please be considerate when packing for camp.  Do remember that each car will be transporting 3-4 people AND their luggage.
We know that everyone likes to look pretty (and there's nothing wrong with that), but there is no need to pack excessively for one weekend (you guys will look pretty anyway).
